Standard LF Series
A smaller version of the LF-Series Second Generation Transmitters, the LF-1 offers a longer battery life with a lighter weight and the same high durability.

The LF-2 series transmitter offers twice the battery life of the LF-3 while maintaining exceptional output power. Among the smallest transmitters available elsewhere, the second generation LF series transmitters are also more durable with up to 50,000 g's vibration and impact resistance.

Backed by years of experience, research, and development, these transmitters are made using special machined parts and state-of-the-art micro-electronics. The batteries slide into the aluminum case and activate once you screw the cap down firmly.
All XLF transmitters have screw type replaceable antennas built on standard size screw studs which can be easily replaced in seconds.
Our Loaded Antennas can be used with all XLF models. These antennas are shorter in length at 6.5 inches without sacrificing much range.
3 Volt looks physically identical to the 4.5 Volt model.

Not only is the LF-1 2G Special our smallest transmitter, but it is also the smallest transmitter on the market. It is even lighter and smaller than ever before! Weighing in at less than 2 grams (with battery!) this transmitter is perfect for your Kestrel, Merlin or other small sized hawk.
This transmitter features a permanently fixed antenna to save on weight. If you choose to have a Tail Mount added, it will also be fixed to the transmitter and adds about 2 tenths of a gram in weight.

Alternative Tracking
These units go a step beyond traditional tracking devices by adding sound and/or light.
The Beeper Bell from LL Electronics is the perfect entry level locating device for apprentices and also the perfect supplemental device for experienced falconers. Using sound to help locate a hidden hawk from over 500 feet (150 Meters) away regardless of motion, soft ground cover or downed prey that would cause a conventional bell to fall silent. The standard Beeper Bell will run on two 392 batteries for about 1 week. For a little extra volume, the Beeper bell will also run on three 396 batteries to attain 4.5 volts of power for about 5 days.

The Flash Beeper Bell from LL Electronics is the perfect entry level locating device for apprentices and also the perfect supplemental device for experienced falconers. Despite being about half the size of other small transmitters, 2G Special series transmitters deliver comparable signal strength and better battery life.
