Improve Range. Improve Direction. Improve Results.
In radio telemetry and GPS tracking, antenna selection directly impacts performance.
Whether you're increasing range, improving directional tracking, or replacing a damaged antenna, using the correct antenna ensures your equipment performs as designed.
L.L. Electronics offers directional antennas, GPS range-boost antennas, and frequency-specific replacement whips built for serious field use.

Receiver Antennas
2L Folding Directional Antenna
The 2L Folding Antenna is a compact, field-ready directional antenna designed for RF tracking receivers.
It works with any receiver using a BNC connector, and is especially designed to mount cleanly to our MN and MNS Receiver Series (both new and legacy models).
Key Features:
BNC connector
Directional signal focus
Compact folding design
Lightweight and field portable
Durable construction for outdoor use
Why Use a Directional Antenna?
Directional antennas allow you to:
Focus signal reception
Increase usable detection range
Determine signal direction more quickly
Reduce time spent searching
The 2L is ideal for falconry, wildlife telemetry, recovery tracking, and long-distance signal work.
GPS Range-Boost Antenna
The Beamer Antenna is designed to dramatically improve range performance when used with compatible GPS tracking handhelds.
It connects directly via SMA connector and replaces the factory omnidirectional antenna with a directional antenna system.
What Makes the Beamer Different?
The Beamer exists for one purpose:
Significant range improvement over stock antennas.
By focusing reception directionally, users can achieve substantially greater usable distance compared to the factory antenna — especially in open terrain.
Compatibility:
Garmin and similar GPS handheld tracking units
SMA connection
Adapters can be used for devices operating on compatible frequencies but using different RF connectors

Transmitter Antennas & Replacement Parts
Standard Replacement Antennas
Proper antenna length and tuning are critical to transmitter performance. Frequency determines antenna length — using the wrong antenna can reduce efficiency and signal strength.
Loaded Replacement Antennas
We also offer base-loaded whip antennas for select transmitters. These transmitter allow for a physically shorter antenna with a coil to electrically lengthen the antenna so that it performs similarly to a full length whip.
These are model-specific and differ between:
LF-4 transmitters
XLF transmitters
Still Not Sure?
