Regular Merlin Series transmitters are available in all of the LF series equivalents (LF-1, LF-2, LF-3) and include screw type antennas and are mountable via both tail and leg techniques. The decreased size of the Merlin series makes it possible to use as a backup or in a situation where a falconer may use more than 1 transmitter in tail mounting. |
All Merlin Specials are almost identical in physical appearance but there are different levels of performance packed tightly and neatly into a sub-miniature package. Advanced hand potting techniques by trained professionals ensure that this extremely small transmitter is also deceivingly durable. Merlin Specials are excellent for very small raptors or in any situation where multiple transmitters are used. ALL Merlin Specials have solder type antennas to decrease weight. |
